Registration Instructions

To register for a Polar Plunge online, click on the blue “Register” button on the bottom of this page. This will take you to our Firstgiving page.

Once you are at the Firstgiving page, click on the blue “Start Fundraising” button. This will bring up a box with all the individual Plunge pages. Find your Plunge location’s page and hit the blue “Select” button.

Once you are on the Plunge location page, hit the blue “Register” button. From here you will select if you are Plunger or Too Chicken to Plunge. Once you have selected your category, you will need to fill out the information to register and create your own fundraising page.

The first registration page will ask for your email address, name, billing address and have you create a password for your account. Once you have filled out these categories, click the blue “Next” button at the bottom.

The second page will ask you for your phone number, t-shirt size, date of birth and have you read and agree to the terms and conditions of the event waiver. Once you have filled out these categories, click the blue “Next” button at the bottom of the page.

The third page will allow you to join a team if there has already been on created. If you wanted to create a team, select the “click here” option to create your team. If you don’t want to create a team or join a team, click the “I don’t want to join a team” button at the bottom of the page.

The next page will allow you to personalize your Firstgiving page. You can create your page’s title name, put a personalized picture, write your personal story and set your fundraising goal. You can also start your fundraising off by making your own personal donation to your page!

You can send your personalized page out to all of your friends and family to tell your Plunge story and ask them to help support you as you raise funds to be “Freezin’ for a Reason!”
