Team Challenges

Make your Plunge adventure even more exciting by forming a team! Grab your friends, family, co-workers, classmates, etc and get your Plunge team started today! All the tools and information you’ll need to make the most of your Polar Plunge team is found below.

The Polar Plunge Team Challenges consists of teams competing in four separate categories – Corporate, School, Law Enforcement and Open – to see who can raise the most funds. Teams face off at the local Plunge level and then we crown one overall team winner!

When creating a team, please make note of the following information:
– A team consists of 2+ people. Depending on the Plunge location, teams will be able to jump together. If a team has more members than allowed to Plunge at one time, team members can jump in groups in succession.
– All teams must have team captain. Team captains will register the team on the day of the Plunge.
– All team captains must fill out and turn in a Team Tracker.
– ONLY the team captain will register a team. Teams will not be allowed to register until all team members have filled out a
Registration/Waiver and turned in their money to their team captain.
– Incentives will be awarded based on individual amounts raised, not total team amount. A team of 10 participants that raises $1,000 will NOT receive an incentive prize.
– Use the Team Captain Tool Kit to make the most of your Plunge experience with your team!
– Team costumes/themes are highly recommended, but please remember to make costumes tasteful and non-discriminatory. Any costumes deemed inappropriate will be asked to leave.
